Pan cake

How to make pancake? It is very easy and very tasty breakfast that you can prepare in minutes.



  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar



  1. Whisk milk, eggs and vanilla together in a jug.
  2. Sift flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Make a well in the centre.
  3. Add milk mixture. Whisk until just combined
  4. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Spray with cooking oil.

  6. Using 1/4 cup mixture per pancake, cook 2 pancakes for 2 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface

  7. . Turn and cook for a further 1-2 minutes or until cooked through.

  8. Transfer to a plate.

  9. Cover loosely with foil to keep warm.

  10. Repeat with remaining mixture, spraying pan with cooking oil between batches.

  1. I never watch what I eat until now I’m a mom of two school-age kids, I do want them to have a good start in the mornnig. Our schooldays breakfast menus include:- hot steel cut oatmeal w/ flaxseed meal & drizzled w/ raw honey- multigrain toast drizzled w/ raw honey- “made from scratch” blueberries pancake w/ flaxseed meal- 1/2 avocado sprinkled w/ course salt & lime juice- bran flax or plain multigrain cheeriosOne of the above plus the following to complete one breakfast:- 1/2 hard boiled egg- low fat milk- 1 serving of fruitI hope this is a dietician-approved menu but certainly moms-approved :). Keep rotating these every weekdays I do feel like I’m running out of ideas!Enjoy your blog very much, particularly like your portion control. Keep up the good work!
